Aap Jaisa Koi Meri Zindagi Mein Aye….. What a rendition! Nazia Hassan was all of 15

for the famous Bollywood thriller Qurbani in 1980. She went on to win Filmfare
Award for Best Female Playback Singer for the song. She cut her superhit debut album Disco Deewane
alongwith her brother Zoheb Hassan soon thereafter in 1981.

Not just a Singer, Nazia was also a Songwriter,

In this video young Nazia can be seen in conversation with Tabassum after her successful debut in Bollywood as a Playback Singer:
Born on 3rd April, 1965, in Karachi, she began her career at the age of 10 years and sang her way to glory. Her melodious voice and unique style of singing, still ring fresh. Nazia and her brother released a number of albums after Disco Deewane, like Star/Boom Boom, Young Tarang, Hotline, with their last one in the year 1992. They went on to sell about 65 million records world wide. A video of a personal favourite song "Boom Boom" sung by the glorious singer is linked for song lovers.
She got married in the year 1995 and had
a son in the year 1997. Unfortunately, her last years were painful as she had
to fight lung cancer, a battle which she lost on 13th August, 2000.
