LEFTOVER RICE CUTLETS


           INGREDIENTS

1.        Cooked Rice:  1 bowl 
2.        Boiled Potato (Grated):  1 No.       
3.        Carrot: 1 No.                                    
4.        Gram Flour (Besan) : 3 tbsp
5.        Green Chillies: 1 No.
6.        Coriander leaves: a bunch
7.        Ginger (Grated): 1 tsp
8.        Mint leaves: 2-3 leaves (optional)
9.        Salt: according to taste
10.     Dried Mango (Amchoor) Powder: 1 tbsp
11.     Oil: for frying




METHOD

Dry roast the Gram Flour and keep aside. Place the cooked Rice (we used Daawat Basmati rice purchased from Flipkart) in a bowl and add grated boiled Potato, grated Carrot, chopped Green Chillies, chopped Coriander leaves, grated Ginger, chopped Mint leaves, roasted Gram  Flour, Dried Mango Powder and salt. Mash the ingredients together. Shape the mixture into   cutlets and keep aside. Separately, heat oil in a pan and then deep fry these cutlets. The cutlets can also be shallow fried. Serve hot with sauce or Green chutney.
