BESAN BARFI
Ingredients
Besan (Gram flour): 2 cups
Sugar powder: 1 cup
Clarified butter (desi ghee): 1 cup
Cardamom (Elaichi) powder: a pinch
Mixed Dry fruits: 3 tbsp
Method
Heat Clarified butter in a non-stick pan. Add Gram flour and stir continuously till it gets cooked. Then add Cardamom powder and mix. Remove from pan into a bowl. Once the mixture cools down then add the powdered Sugar and mix properly. Grease a Thali or Cake Tin with Clarified butter and spread the Gram flour mixture. Garnish with Dry fruits. Set aside to cool for about 2 hours. Then cut it into pieces and store in an air tight container.
