Translation
Listening to the Shabad, the
divine word of God, one dives deep into the ocean of virtues. Shabad induces
the wisdom and knowledge of Sufi masters and Emperor of the spiritual realm. Listening
to the Shabad, even the (spiritually) blind persons find the right path. By
associating with the Guru’s word, deep secrets of the oceans of truth are
unravelled. Guru Nanakdevji says that the devotees are forever in bliss. By
listening to the Shabad, pain and sin are erased.

Translation
The state of faithful cannot
be described. Those who attempt to describe it will regret it for lack of
wisdom to do so. There is no pen, paper or scribe who can record the state of
mind of a surrendered soul. Though many may gather to ponder on the state of
faith of a believer. Such is the divine word of the immaculate Lord. Only those
who have faith are aware of this state of mind.

Conscious awareness and intuitive
wisdom are earned through faith in the Lord. By vesting complete faith in the
Lord, the mind becomes aware of all the worlds. The devotee is saved from pain, frustration
and unhappiness; the mind of a person who has unswerving faith in the Lord is
always content in the knowledge of the happiness that lies beyond this worldly
realm where He resides. One who has faith in the Supreme Person does not go
with the messenger of death; the devotee does not fear death. Such is the
divine word of the immaculate Lord. Only those who have faith are aware of this state
of mind.

name does not face obstacles like lust, greed, anger and attachments, in the
way of meeting Him. The devotee departs with honour and fame. Through
faith in the Lord, one goes on the right path and stays away from irrational
beliefs. The faithful are firmly bound
to the Dharma and will progress towards virtues and righteousness. Such is the
divine word of the immaculate Lord. Only those who have faith are aware of this
state of mind.

door of liberation. The faithful uplift
and redeem their family and relations. The faithful are able to cross the
worldly ocean and show the right path to the other fellow beings. Satguru Nanakdevji says that the faithful do not
wander around begging for divine grace. Such
is the divine word of the immaculate Lord. Only those who have faith are aware
of this state of mind.
