PORTAL TO A PARALLEL UNIVERSE

                                                              I, ME, MYSELF?.......

Do we have a double, a spitting image of our own self  somewhere beyond the dimensions of  this space and time?  Is there a possibility of a Universe existing parallel to ours?  Thought provoking questions indeed.

This certainly reminds one of the Netflix blockbuster 'Stranger Things', a film series with a story line based on alternate dimensions.  In the film, a portal opens up connecting a US town to a dark alternate dimension called 'Upside Down'.

But this isn't a story. Truth is often stranger than fiction. Scientists at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Eastern Tennessee are indeed trying to open up a portal to a Parallel Universe. Leah Broussard, is the leading Physicist of the project which could be a game changer. The Scientists will be firing a beam of subatomic particles down a 50 foot tunnel. This beam will pass through a powerful magnet and hit an impenetrable wall with a neutron detector behind. 

Should the experiment be successful, the particles will transform into mirror images of themselves allowing them to tunnel right through the impenetrable wall, thus proving that the visible Universe is only half of what is truly there.

Well if such a Universe were to exist, it would certainly have mirror laws and mirror physics!
