HAPPY JANAMSHTAMI
Here is an easy recipe for preparing delicious bhog for Janmashtami
Ingredients:
Poha- 1 cup
Mixed Dry fruits- 2 tbsp
Dry Coconut diced - 1 tbsp
Coconut powder- 3 tbsp
Jaggery grated- 4 tbsp (or according to taste)
Clarified Butter (Desi Ghee)- 1 tbsp
Method:
Wash Poha properly and keep aside in a bowl. Heat the Clarified Butter in a wok and slightly roast the mixed dry fruits. Put all the ingredients, ie, Diced Coconut, Coconut powder, Jaggery and Dry fruits in the bowl containing Poha. Mix well and the Janmashtami Bhog is ready for serving to the Lord.
