The best bodyweight squat tutorial ever

Squat is one of most efficient movement for strength and toning of the whole body, in particular, lower extremities. However, if done incorrectly it can cause pain in the knees, lower back and ankles.  

Ryan Hurst, head coach and co-founder of GMB fitness demonstrates the correct technique and form to do a deep bodyweight squat. Coach Ryan shows the mobility drills to loosen the ankles and hip flexors which is necessary to be able to go down deep into the sitting position. He also teaches the regressions to be able to achieve a near perfect bodyweight squat. Take a closer look at the position and alignment  of the feet, head, shoulders, back and chest  during the squat. Most importantly do not forget to breath. Whenever you exert effort breath out.
