Translation
Priceless are His virtues and
priceless are His dealings. Worshipers of the Lord, His dealers and His
treasures are priceless. Seekers of the Lord are priceless and priceless are the
treasures of His Name and devotion. Priceless is the devotion to the Lord and
union with Him. Priceless is the divine law of dharma and priceless is His
court. The weighing scales through which He judges us are priceless and
priceless is His grace in forgiving our sins. His blessings, gifts and marks of
approval are priceless. His grace and
command is priceless. He is priceless beyond expression. Those who continuously
speak of the Lord, remain absorbed in His love. Vedas and Puranas dwell on Him.
The religious scholars study about Him and deliver discourses. Brahmas, the devas of creation and Indras, the
devas of rain, talk about Him. The milk
maids of Krishna and even Krishna Himself talks of Him. Shiva, the deva of
destruction, and the adept having miraculous powers talk of Him. Buddhas
created by the Lord speak of Him. The Demons and Devas speak of Him. Demi-Gods,
men, sages and humble servants all give narrations about Him. Many have
attempted to speak of Him. Many have described Him and then left this world. If
as many more are created as there are already, even then it is not possible to
describe His virtues. He is as wondrous as pleases Him. Satguru Nanakdevji says
that He Himself knows His greatness. If someone says that he can describe the
Lord, he is put down as greatest fool out of fools.

Translation
Which is that gate, which is that mansion from where the Lord watches and sustains
His creation. The sound current of nada originates there from countless musical
instruments. Endless are the musical instruments, the notes, the players who
sing in varying melodies. The praanic wind, Water, Fire sing; Dharamraj, the mythical God of Justice, sings
His praises at His door. Chitr and Gupt, the angels of conscious and the sub-conscious,
the angels who record all actions, as well as the righteous judge of dharma,
who judges this record, also sing praises of the Lord. God Shiva, God Brahma
and Goddess ever beautiful and adorned, sing His praises in a beautiful way.
Indra, king of angels, seated on his throne alongwith other Gods, sings His praises at His gate. In
the meditative mood the Siddhas and saints in their contemplation, sing His
praises. Men of courage, tolerance, poise and contentment sing His praises and
dauntless warriors also sing His praises. The scholars, readers of Vedas from
all ages sing His praises. Fairies of
heaven, earth and netherworld sing His praises. The celestial jewels created by
the Lord alongwith sixty eight places of pilgrimage sing His praises. Great
warriors, heroes and four sources of creation, viz, egg, womb, sweat and seed,
sing His praises. All the worlds, continents, solar system, universe &
galalxies which are bound by His order, sing His praises. Only those accepted
by Him sing His praises; such persons are devotees who enjoy the bliss of His
name. Satguru Nanakdevji says that I cannot contemplate how many more sing
about Him. Only the Lord is the true master and His glory is true. Only He exists
for ever; He shall not depart even when the universe which He created departs.
The Lord fashioned this world with its varying hues, species and worldly
things; He enjoys His creation the way He likes. He does whatever pleases Him
and none can command Him. Guru Nanakdevji says that He is the King of Kings and
one should live subject to His command.

Make contentment your earrings, humility your begging bowl and meditation
the ashes you apply on your body. Let the thought of death be the patched coat
you wear, the purity of a bride be your way in the world and faith in the Lord be
your walking stick. Come into this world as a traveller; see the brotherhood of
all mankind as the highest order of yogis; conquer your mind and conquer the world.
Salutation, my humble salutation to Him. The Primal Lord, the Pure Light,
without beginning, without end. Through out the ages, He is one and the same.

Let spiritual wisdom be your food and contentment your attendant. The sound
current of the nada, the celestial melody, vibrates in each and every heart. He
Himself is the master of all, wealth and
miraculous spiritual powers, all other external tastes and pleasures are like
beads on a string. Union and separation drive the world, we come here to live
our destiny. Salutation, my humble salutation to Him. The Primal Lord, the Pure
Light, without beginning, without end. Through out the ages, He is one and the

One divine mother conceived and gave birth to three deities. One the
creator of the world, One the sustainer and One the destroyer. Whatever He
wishes He makes it happen according to His command. He watches all but none see
Him, how wonderful is this! Salutation, my humble salutation to Him. The Primal
Lord, the Pure Light, without beginning, without end. Through out the ages, He
