Translation
World after World are
the seats of His authority and storehouses. Whatever was put into them was put
once and for all. Having created the creation, the Lord watches it. Guru
Nanakdevji says that true is the Lord and true is His creation. Salutation, my
humble salutation to Him. The Primal Lord, the Pure Light, without beginning,
without end. Through out the ages, He is one and the same.

Translation
If I had one lakh
tongues and these were then multiplied twenty times over, I would repeat lakhs
and lakhs of times the name of the one Lord with each tongue. Tread this path
to our Husband Lord; climbing these steps one merges with Him. Hearing about
the talks of the Lord’s abode, even the meanest of worm is tempted to soar. O
Nanak, He is obtained solely by His own grace. The boastings of the false are a
sham.

Translation
We have no control over
our speech or silence. No power to beg or give. No power to live or die.
Control is not gained by ruling with wealth or occult mental powers.
Control cannot be achieved by spiritual wisdom or meditation. We have no power
to find the way to escape from the world. He alone has control in His Hands; He
watches over all. Satguru Nanakdevji says that no one is high or low.

Translation
The Supreme Lord created
nights, seasons, dates, days, wind, water, fire and nether worlds. Amidst
all of this He placed mother Earth as a spiritual dwelling. Upon this Earth, He
placed creatures of various colours; these creatures have uncountable names. By
their karmas and deeds they will be judged. The Lord Himself is true and true
is His Court. There, in His Court, the self realised saints sit in perfect ease
having received the mark of grace from the merciful Lord. The ripe and the
unripe, the good and the bad will be judged here. O Nanak, those go there who
have worshiped.

Translation
This is the righteous
living in the realm of Dharma. Then there is the realm of spiritual wisdom.
There are so many winds, waters, fires, Krishnas and Shivas. So many
Brahmas fashioning forms of great beauty, adorned and dressed in so many hues.
So many worlds and lands for completing our karmic cycle. So many lessons to be
learnt. So many Indras, so many moons and suns, so many worlds and lands. So
many Sidhhas, so many Budhhas, so many yogic masters. So many Goddesses. So
many demi gods, demons, so many silent sages. So many oceans of jewels. So many
ways of life, so many languages. So many dynasties of rulers. So many intuitive
people, so many selfless servants. O Nanak, His limits have no limits.
